Celeb style steal - Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad looked stunning at the recent signing of her new book LA Candy, in her gorgeous sheer mini dress, which is a real hot trend right now and for AW09. Get the look yourself from Oasis, this sheer lace detail dress is £110, also available to buy at http://www.asos.com/, although i reckon you'll need to hit the St Tropez bottle to get a tan to match up to Lauren's!

The Saturday's clothing range - the verdict!

If you haven't already heard, the Saturday's have designed a small collection of clothes (mainly dresses) called 'Rare' which are available at ASOS and Oli, i love this metallic playsuit (£40) designed by Frankie and as worn by her in the group pic here, and personally i think she looks much better in it than the ASOS model. My other favourite is the studded strip mini dress also designed by Frankie and modelled by her at http://www.oli.com/, which would look great with shiny black leggings underneath. Could this be a new career for her??

Hot off the press... Jimmy Choo for H&M coming soon!

I was in a state of shock and utter delight when i read this, this morning...

This autumn, British accessory brand Jimmy Choo will bring its international glamour and covetable shoes and bags to selected H&M stores. The collection will be available from November 14 in around 200 stores across the world. It is the first time that H&M is collaborating with an accessories brand, and to celebrate Jimmy Choo will extend its design vision for this collection to women’s clothing to complement the accessories. Further exciting news is that this collaboration includes a men’s collection of shoes, bags and accessories.

Tamara Mellon, founder and president of Jimmy Choo said: ” We are privileged to be among the fashion greats who have been affiliated with H&M so far, and to be designing a collection appealing to fashion savvy, street smart women, and to be including some great pieces for men too. Jimmy Choo will bring to H&M a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible and glamorous collection - the perfect party pieces to buy now and then wear out at night.”

New season, new handbag ladies and these little babies from Topshop are right up the minute in the trend stakes!

Fringing is huge this season and this fuchsia pink handbag £55 is gorgeous for the summer months.

This colourful XL clutch bag, gives a nod to the whole tribal/ethnic trend of the summer and the variety of colours in it means that it can be teamed up with almost any outfit, meaning it could be your one stop evening bag for the summer and at £30, I'd say that its money well spent.

Colourful macs from Miss Selfridge..

The British weather is pretty darn depressing at the moment isn't it ladies, one moment your in your summer sandals then the next your back to your winter boots and coats.... erghhh it's so frustrating not know what to wear from day to day, but if we must wear our coats then we can at least make this a happy affair by wearing one of these gorgeous macs from Miss Selfridge.
The purple on is £60 and the lovely rose pink one is £50, but I'd say that it's money well spent if it brightens your mood, and if we have a summer like last year (hopefully not), then you should get some good use out of it!

Recycle your undies for charity!

Recently it was reported that most women in the UK have at least 4 bras that they never wear simply because they don’t fit, are uncomfortable or have been replaced. If this sounds familiar, don’t hoard them, do something amazing with them and save a life! 'Lingerie please' have teamed up with 'Bag It Up' to encourage customers to help collect 200,000 bras for charity to raise money for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The second-hand bras are re-packed & shipped to West Africa where they are sold on to licensed West African traders with all profits going to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. There is a big demand for second hand bras all over the world and we know the campaign will make a big difference to women everywhere. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance provides a life saving service across Yorkshire and as an independent charity they rely on charity donations to keep the £7,200 a day service running. What better excuse do you need for a spring lingerie sort out? So tell friends and family about the campaign – all donations will be much appreciated and will help us reach the target of 200,000 bras!

Please visit www.lingerieplease.co.uk/charity for all the details.

And i reckon that this is a great excuse to treat yourself to some new bras too girls!

Bum enchancing knickers!

Just take a look at the before and after pics here... pretty darn good eh!

Trend focus - the peg leg trouser

One of this season's key trouser trends is the 'peg leg', which is surprisingly flattering, and these loose fitting silk trousers £45 from Topshop are even more so particularly if your pear shaped as they will disguise big thighs.

They are also in a really neutral soft grey shade that will pretty much go with anything, but just make sure that you wear these trousers with killer heels otherwise the look just won't work!

These are perfect for the office or a night out.

http://www.topshop.com/

Summer wardrobe treat!

This very on trend grey and coral silk colour block dress is a perfect summer wardrobe treat, Coral is a huge colour trend this season, and rightly so as it's such a wonderful summer shade, and colour blocking is even bigger news, and is pretty much seen in every highstreet store at the moment.

Wear with chunky heeled gladiator sandals for an up to the minute look, and add a few large bangles too.

£50 from http://www.dorothyperkins.com/

Brighten up your wardrobe (and your mood)

Brighten up your wardrobe in this dull in between month with this gorgeous Emerald green dress £40 from Topshop!

Also a great outfit for St Patrick's day and is one of my 'wardrobe staple' picks as this is an all year round dress, wear in the winter with thick tights or leggings and a cardi and with sandals in the summer, plus it's a suit all skin tones shade, now that's what i call £40 well spent!

And this Nautical brooch pack (above left) is only £7 and you could pin them onto tops, jackets and even bags to make a plain outfit look super trendy!

Topshop - the jewel of the highstreet

If your looking for a great way of updating your look without having to splash out on a whole new wardrobe, then get yourself down to Topshop (or at least online), these necklaces are fantastic for adding some drama to your outfit no matter how plain it is.

I adore the gorgeous flower one, perfect for spring outfits!

London Fashion Week - Issa

My favourite show at LFW was the Issa AW09, full of extremely feminine and classy dresses with vibrant colour mixes, these are the kind of clothes that will make you feel like a real woman, sexy and glamorous, i look at these dresses and it makes me want to paint my lips and fingernails pillar box red like a forties starlet.

And the red platforms are gorgeous

These are my favourites from the collection, but i really wish that i could own the lot!!

I know that it's a little premature, but i can't wait to see the SS10 collection.

Handbags with a difference...

Well, its been a busy few days for me with London Fashion Week, but rather frustratingly, my camera couldn't get any decent shots of the shows that i attended, and even more frustrating is the fact that i can't find any online either, so it's a little pointless giving my reviews without any photo's for you to see, but whilst walking around the LFW exhibition, i came across a stand that was showcasing Rocio bags, and i was stunned by just how beautiful and unusual these bags were, believe me these photo's don't do them enough justice. the unusual thing about them is that they are all handmade from sustainable acacia wood, they aren't cheap but are pure luxury, and definite collectors piece's.
The ladybird bag is £225 and this gorgeous brown 'Collette' bag is £450 (ouch).

New York Fashion Week - Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacob's is one of my favourite designers, but i seriously think that he was high when he created his AW09 collection, full of completely mental shades and shapes it was like a acid trip back to the 80's, a couple of the pieces were abosolutely hideous, but what's the bets that slightly softer versions will hit the highstreet and like it or not most of us will fall victim to it, hey, if it worked in the 80's it could work again?! Although i'm kind of hoping not!!
